reconnecting humanity through conversations
I am a Danish civic designer and conversation innovator dedicated to reimagining and reenchanting the world. I am the founder of Concopia, an initiative developing new conversation etiquettes and experiential formats that strengthen democratic culture and civic imagination.
My work bridges art, design, and rhetorical citizenship — often realized through conversations cards, salons and exhibitions. Sometimes I set out on my own endeavors – sometimes I collaborate with cultural institutions such as the innovative library DOKK1, the Museum of National History at Frederiksborg Castle, the Danish Parliament , ministeries and municipalities, and the National Gallery of Denmark.
I often serve as salonnière at major events, including the conference dinner at the Nordic Conference on Rhetorics and the formal dinners hosted by AFSMK – American Friends of the National Gallery of Denmark for the opening of the exhibition on Danish 19th-century drawings at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the Getty in Los Angeles.
My projects invite citizens to reconnect through curiosity, wonder, and conversation as a democratic act.
I’m appointed to the Danish Design Council for my lifelong contributions to civic design.
